Looking Ahead June 2010

Chiron goes retrograde June 4

June begins with Saturn having just gone direct and Neptune just turning retrograde at the very end of May. So many aspects, so little time for me to write. Uranus and Jupiter will be moving into Aries early this month, jolting everyone into action and moving things forward pretty quickly. With Mars (Aries ruling planet) in Leo opposing Neptune in Aquarius, we may see continued tension between “my way” vs. “your way”, my religion (or belief system) vs. yours, selfish vs. altruistic. Saturn opposes Jupiter and Uranus, bringing Karmic payback to those who have not taken responsibility and to those who knowingly screwed other people over and did whatever they wanted, to whomever they wanted for their own selfish, self interest.

Jupiter and Uranus conjoin in Aries most tightly June 6-8. This is a great time to start new ventures. I would caution not to be overconfident, and mind the rules especially with Saturn opposing this aspect. I think innovation is a great keyword for this aspect. This is a great time to meditate on being flexible, and going with the flow. When someone fills a ballon quickly, it easily expands. Rigid materials would crack, shatter and break. Jupiter and Uranus conjoining in pioneering Aries initiates, and moves forward confidently, quickly and doesn't tolerate obstacles very well.

The new moon June 12 at 21 degrees Gemini is a social, chatty moon. With Jupiter and Uranus in conjunction, be careful not to spill the beans with an overconfident slip of the lip. Venus in Cancer brings family to the forefront and the breakthrough energy of Jupiter and Uranus in Aries lets the good times roll. Mercury in chatty Gemini makes communication a breeze, so after the Mercury retrograde last month, you should be able to catch up quickly.

The full moon and lunar eclipse June 26 is probably going to be intense with its conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn. The Grand Square involving this eclipse is Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, squaring the Sun in Cancer, squaring the Moon and Pluto in Capricorn and opposing Saturn. This will likely be a time of cleaning house, and setting things right. Think of the mess in the house after the Cat in the Hat and Things One and Two have wreaked havoc. Then the Cat in the Hat comes through with his cleaner upper machine and straightens everything back up. The difference is that what has been changed, will likely not go back to being the same. Anything involving Pluto is changed irrevocably. For better or worse, this energy is about wiping the slate clean. Timing exactly when it will manifest is very difficult, and depends on individual chart placements, as well as free will.
